A full semester of engaging choral instruction with professional songleader and singer-songwriter Noe Venable. That’s fifteen in-person weekly classes, plus the opportunity to perform in our closing concert for family and friends at the beautiful Noe Valley Ministry.

DETAILS:
HOW: We meet in the San Francisco Bay Area, in five smaller cohorts who come together for a single shared performance at the close of our season together, along with members of Mothersong Chorus, my community choir for women and nonbinary folks. Individual cohorts are kept intentionally small for COVID safety and for reasons of group culture.
This listing is for our cohort that meets on Tuesday afternoons in Pacifica. (To register for a different Forest Voices cohort, look here.)
WHO: Open to kids ages 7 - 12. (Parents of older kids, take note that most who join us are on the young side of that range.)
COVID safety: We meet indoors in a well ventilated space with air purifiers running. Masks are optional.
WHEN: Tuesdays, October 3rd, 2023 - January 16th, 2024, 4 - 5 PM (Exceptions: We will not meet on 10/31, 12/26 and 1/16)
WHERE: Private residence in Pacifica, Sharp Park neighborhood. (You'll get the address when you register, but google nearby Oceana High School for approximate driving distance.)
Also Wednesday, January 17th, 4 - 5 PM at the Noe Valley Ministry in San Francisco.
Closing Concert, including Community Sing and Potluck Reception:
Saturday, January 20th - 1:45 PM - 5:30 PM
at the Noe Valley Ministry
Concert at 3 PM
COST:
The financial exchange for this group works out to approximately $25 per class for sixteen events at the early bird rate, plus a $15 materials fee for our official t-shirt. (This amount is prorated for those joining us after the start of the season.)

WHAT THIS COST COVERS:
There's a lot that goes into running a group like this. In addition to Noe's teaching and planning time, your financial support covers venue rental, insurance, song licensing, arranging the songs, producing high quality practice recordings, lyrics, promotion, t-shirt design and printing and all the online systems that help me serve you.
ACCESSIBILITY:
While the sustainability of this group rests on a majority paying the rate listed above (with so much gratitude to you for helping me support my family with this work), we do have a limited number of scholarships available. If you need financial assistance to join us, please apply here.
