A full semester of engaging choral instruction with professional songleader and singer-songwriter Noe Venable. That’s twelve in-person weekly classes, plus the opportunity to perform in our closing concert for family and friends at the beautiful Noe Valley Ministry.

DETAILS:
HOW: We meet in the San Francisco Bay Area, in five smaller cohorts who come together for a single shared performance at the close of our season together, along with members of Mothersong Chorus, my community choir for women and nonbinary folks. Individual cohorts are kept intentionally small for COVID safety and for reasons of group culture.
This listing is for our cohort that meets on Thursday afternoons as part of the Sunset Ridge Elementary School after school program, which is open to enrolled Sunset Ridge students. (To register for a different Forest Voices cohort, look here.)
WHO: Open to kids ages 7 - 12. (Parents of older kids, take note that most who join us are on the young side of that range.)
COVID safety: We meet indoors in a well ventilated space. Masks are optional.
WHEN: Thursdays, October 5th, 2023 - January 11th, 2024, 2:45 - 3:45 PM (Exceptions: We will not meet on 11/23, 11/28, and 1/4)
Our January 11th class will include a performance for family and friends
WHERE: Sunset Ridge Elementary School, Pacifica, in the music room.
Optional:
Closing Concert, including Community Sing and Potluck Reception, bringing together Forest Voices Cohorts from around the Bay Area, as well Mothersong Chorus for women and nonbinary folks.

Families who wish to participate in this closing concert also need to attend one additional meeting on Wednesday, January 17th, 4 - 5 PM at the Noe Valley Ministry in San Francisco.
COST:
The financial exchange for this group works out to $297 for up to fourteen events at the early bird rate (depending on whether you choose to participate in the optional final concert and dress rehearsal.)

WHAT THIS COST COVERS:
There's a lot that goes into running a group like this. In addition to Noe's teaching and planning time, your financial support covers venue rentals, insurance, song licensing, arranging the songs, producing high quality practice recordings, lyrics, promotion, t-shirt design and printing and all the online systems that help me serve you.
